My go-to vacation outfit, at least for warm weather, is a cotton, rayon or silk jersey knee-length or midi dress and my beloved old, 2-inch Rockport wedge, cushioned sandals, the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever found. This is a super-comfortable and practical outfit for traveling. I carry a super-light rayon cardigan or cotton knit blazer, depending on my planned activities after landing. When flying I carry a pair of matching knee-high socks to wear in the cabin instead ofmy sandals, but I don’t usually get that cold on planes.
